TERMS & CONDITIONS

I agree to use Oz shootings (“Oz”) equipment, services and facilities in compliance with the Rules on the following terms and conditions:

RULES:

1. Alcohol consumption or illegal drug use is prohibited prior to and during any clay target shooting activities.
2. Oz reserves the right to immediately cancel any clay target shooting activities at any time if there is a breach of zero alcohol consumption or illegal drug use or, in the event that Oz is reasonably of the belief that the zero alcohol consumption or illegal drug use has been breached.
3. Oz further reserves the right to immediately cancel all clay shooting activities at any time if in the reasonable view of Oz, a participant or participants is causing danger to or likely to cause danger to that participant , other participants , instructors or the general public within the facility grounds.
4. If a clay target shooting activity has been cancelled in accordance with rules 2 or 3 hereof no refund of any amount paid by any participant of that activity shall be refunded.
5. Participants must have photographic ID in order to shoot.

RISK WARNING:
I am aware that my use of the equipment , services and facilities and in particular the use of shotguns supplied by Oz for clay target shooting activities can be inherently dangerous and serious accidents can happen which may result in me being injured or even killed or my property damaged.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK:
I declare that I have read and understand the risk warning and I accept and assume all such inherent dangers and risks involved in my participation of clay target shooting activities with Oz.

EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY:
Except to the extent that the Trade practices act 1974 (Cth)and the Fair Trading Act 1999 (Vic) or other legislation applies, and cannot by contract be excluded, I acknowledge that I am a consumer of recreational services, as defined by any relevant law, and as such certain terms and rights usually implied into a contract for the supply of services may be excluded. I acknowledge that these implied terms and rights in any liability of Oz flowing from it, are expressly excluded to the extent possible by law by this declaration.  To the extent of any liability arising, the liability of Oz will at the discretion of Oz be limited to the resupply of the services or payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

RELEASE AND INDEMNITY:
I agree that as a term of my participation in the use of Oz services and clay target shooting activities:
(i) I RELEASE Oz from all liability howsoever arising from injury or damage howsoever caused arising out of my participation in any clay target shooting activities organised by Oz of which I am a participant.
(ii) I INDEMNIFY and will keep indemnified Oz to the extent permitted by law in respect of any claim by any person including but not limited to another participant in the clay target shooting activities arising as a result of or in connection with my participation in any clay target shooting activities or from the use or attempted use by me of any Oz equipment services and facilities.

MEDICAL TREATMENT:
I CONSENT to receiving any medical treatment that Oz reasonably considers necessary or desirable for me during my participation in the clay target shooting activities. I agree to reimburse Oz for any costs or expenses incurred in providing me with medical treatment.

BOOKING INFORMATION:
A non-refundable/non transferable deposit is required for all group sessions to hold a date & time.
Balance payments with confirmed numbers are required to be paid in full 10 days prior to an event as per instructions at the time of booking. Events are not confirmed until full payment has been made.

CANCELLATIONS:
Private Group Booking – Deposits are non refundable/transferable at any stage. Final confirmed numbers and the balance payment is required 10 days prior. Events are not confirmed if payment hasn’t been made within 10 days of the event.
Oz Shooting reserves the right to cancel an event for any reason any time. If this should happen, Oz Shooting will refund all payments (excludes rule 2 & 3) in full or re-schedule another date and time as per the clients request.
Online bookings (Come & Try) – Not refundable. Rescheduling permitted up to 7 days prior to the session start time. Changes to bookings within 7 days up to 48hrs prior to the start time will incur a $25.00 admin fee per person. No changes 48hrs prior.
Online bookings (Deluxe private packages) 1-6 participants – Not Refundable. Rescheduling permitted up to 7 days prior. Any changes to bookings within 7 days up to 48hrs prior will incur a 30% (of the total payment) reschedule fee. No changes permitted 48hrs prior.

Cancellations/no shows and late arrivals of a confirmed event/session: participants will forfeit their experience, therefore not entitled to a refund or reschedule.

PAYMENT INFORMATION:
We accept the following payment options; Cash, EFT, Visa, Master card, Corporate c/cards, Amex  (Card transactions 1% surcharge – Corporate c/cards & Amex 2% surcharge)

ALCOHOL & DRUGS POLICY:
Oz Shooting enforces a strict” No Alcohol & No Drugs” policy prior and during our sessions. If we believe any participant is under the influence of alcohol or drugs we will refer to our “Rules” located at the top of the terms and conditions page regarding this matter. Alcohol is permitted only after all participants have completed their shooting and as per clubs license agreement or alcohol consumption rules.

PROHIBITED PERSONS:
Oz Shooting does not allow any person/s to participate or attend an Oz Shooting Clay Target event if you have been deemed a” prohibited person” under section 3 of the firearms act 1996.

VIOLENT OR THREATENING BEHAVIOUR:
Oz Shooting will not tolerate violent or threatening behaviour towards any staff or person/s on the club grounds. Oz Shooting will take the correct action to ensure safety at all times .

MINIMUM AGE:
To participate in an Oz Shooting event the minimum age is 14 years old. All persons under the age of 18 must be signed in on the same “Conditions of Use” form of the consenting or responsible adult.

DRESS CODE:
Clothing appropriate for the day’s forecast is advised.  A comfortable shoe (closed toe) is recommended. We provide safety glasses or feel free to bring your own glasses or corrective lenses.  Sunscreen is provided at all our ranges.

WEATHER:
Clay target shooting is an outdoor sport and is not governed by weather. Oz Shooting will not cancel your event unless its unsafe or impossible to complete the session due to extreme weather situations which will be established at the start time. If the weather is extreme, Oz Shooting will wait up to a minimum of 30 mins for conditions to ease and then resume the session. If the event must be cancelled Oz Shooting will conduct the remainder of the event on another day suitable for both parties or refund the event (or balance less targets)  if unable to reach an agreed alternative date and time.

GIFT VOUCHERS:
An Oz Shooting gift voucher requires pre-booking notification.  Gift Vouchers  are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.   Vouchers are not refundable or redeemable for cash and can be used as payment for a group booking.  Buy a Gift Voucher
